Public Lands Are Worth Fighting For

“This land is made for you and me…” our national parks, monuments, and public lands are under attack, and it is up to us to fight to keep them the way they are – protected. I don’t care which side of the political aisle you land on; it does not matter; this should be a bipartisan issue, and it concerns all of us, whether you are of voting age or not. National Parks are a treasure to the American people and should be treated as such, not divided up and sold off to the highest bidder, fracked for its natural resources or otherwise toiled with. I am just a mom who and enjoys going to national parks with immensely with my family, but that doesn’t mean my voice and yours doesn’t matter. Now more than ever people are using their voices and resources to be heard and spark changes. I want these majestic lands to be around long after I am dead and buried, I want my great-great-grandchildren and their children to be able to experience these lands, and their grandchildren. To some of you, it may just be some land, but it is so much more than that, it is a promise of our futures and a reminder of our past. This land is your land and mine, and we need to protect it. Please consider signing petitions, writing your state's representatives and getting out and enjoying national parks with someone you love.
